CLYC Juniors in Top Form at Youth Championships

At Ballyholme last weekend the annual RYANI Youth Championships were held. 135 young sailors competed for this prestigious award. Six races were held over 2 days. CLYC continued its run of good form with Conor O'Farrell 8th in the Radial fleet, Anna McNulty first in the Laser 4.7 Class and First Girl overall. Kate MacAdorey and Tom O'Hare were 9th and 10th respectively in this class. Conor Quinn was second in the Topper Class. Stephen Finnegan was 6th and Matthew McNulty was 20th in the Topper Class. Paul McParland lost his NI Standard Laser title when he was pipped to second place. A fine performance which should see another good representation for the club on the NI youth squad.
