CLYC wins SportNI grant

Club treasurer Ian Finnegan announced the fantastic news this week that CLYC had been successful in its bid for a SPORTNI grant of £30,000. This is for the purchase of 8 club boats which will allow members without their own boats to gain experience. He said “ This grant will make a huge difference to the development of sailing locally and will transform the summer courses for adults and children alike”. The new boats are expected to arrive in time for the start of the racing season in April.
